Second Year is quickly approaching and feeling excited that I can start another studying make-up and Hair. Being told all the topics and units of what we will be studying in the upcoming year has got me rather excited. I'm eager to learn new skills and work and collaborate with a variety of new people this year and explore new things. I love learning new skills and getting really stuck in new projects. A crucial part of our second year is to reflect on my work and self improve. Second year will be a load more of work and a lot of independent studying and exploring to help us grow as individual artists. This will help self evaluate, take on feedback and develop further.
Personally I feel I am a very critical person to myself and when it comes to my work I always set myself very high standards which if I don't meet them then I do get slightly disappointed in myself. This reflection log will focus on the highs and lows of my first year, thoughts on the units I did and an overall view of my first year at Solent. This will help me evaluate and reflect on my work to help improve myself in certain areas and help progress my skills to the up coming units.
